Abstract The paper presents the results of simulation research based on static characteristics determination for the type series of cylindrical fenders. The discretization by finite ele-ments of geometrical model of cylindrical fender plane section was performed, taking into account hyperelastic elements and contact phenomena. The deformations and curves of the characteristics achieved in numerical calculations and experimental meth-od is presented.
